General Information

This is a page where I describe models of small ships or boats, usually also of small scale (like 1:250) and not interesting enough to have a page of their own.

The kit contains alternative parts to build one of two boats, Apollo or Mercury, differing only in name and colour of the waterline.

The originals are seaworthy little working boats of the Dutch port of Rotterdam; they are employed to transfer pilots to and from the big cargo and passenger ships.

I made this small model while in hospital, so tools and space were limited. I have little experience with such small models which shows in some nasty irregular spots.
